VIDEO: How To Use Up Bananas

A live cooking demo (complete with pajamas) on how to use up bananas, whether they're regular, super-ripe, or frozen.

Recipes are approximate (we're lazy cooks) and can be customized with whatever you have around!

Banana Pancakes: 1 egg, 1 banana, pinch of baking soda, large pinch of oats. Blend and griddle.

Banana Muffins: 2 eggs, 2 bananas, 1 cup peanut butter, pinch of salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp baking soda. Blend and bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes.

Banana Ice Cream: Blend frozen bananas! Delicious additions include a splash of almond milk or regular milk, cocoa powder, cinnamon, crushed oreos, etc.

Banana Bread: our favorite recipe, which came from accidentally forgetting to add an entire cup of flour! Turns out it's way better this way.

1 stick of butter, softened
3/4 cup brown or white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup whole wheat or AP flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla
Optional but highly recommended - a large handful of chocolate chips

Heat the oven to 350, grease a loaf pan. Cream the butter and sugar, add everything else, mix well, bake for 50-60 minutes.
